Pastor's sermon on Wednesday from Galatians 6:7-10 was powerhouse-packed full of great truths! It got me thinking so much about how I spend my time. Then, that got me thinking about our Time on Tuesday blogposts :)
Verse 9 of that passage says "...let us not be weary in well doing...". The main thing I took away from the message that night was to make sure everything I spend time doing is "well doing". It's so easy to spend too much time browsing Instagram, face-creeping people on Facebook (I know we all do it! :D ), fixing myself in front of the mirror, worrying about things I have no control over...the list is different for each of us, but probably endless!
Did you notice I used the word "spend"? Time is something we spend. What is something else we spend? Money. Today I want to encourage you to think of time like money; how are you spending it? How are you investing it?
The Bible says "...where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matthew 6:21). Treasure = money = time. God doesn't lie, girls; if your heart is somewhere it shouldn't be, that is because your treasure (time) is somewhere it shouldn't be.
Take time for Jesus today!

Bible Reading: Proverbs 21, Esther 4

I love this analogy of time and money! Most of us wouldn't dream of wasting our money on something foolish....like lottery tickets, simply because most of us work hard to have what we have. But, to think of our time like money is so good! Very thought-provoking, Mrs. Lois!
