Hopefully I piqued your curiosity with this new title! A regular burden on my heart is this: today's young people are being told "we don't do this, but we do this", yet most of the time they are not being told "why". I was a single girl not so long ago, and I remember how important it was to me to know why.
The "why's" of life are important factors! Example: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son..." - the underlined portion is the "why". Why did God give us the Bible? So we could be saved! Remember? "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" - Romans 10:17.
Why am I talking about all of this? ...so glad you asked. :)
In the coming "Why Wednesdays", we will cover why we believe what we believe. The answers for all of our "why" questions are found in the Word of God - THE Answer Book! I may also do some posts about why we use the King James Bible - because it is yet again something I very rarely hear taught to our young people today.
Perhaps there is something you have "why's" about. Text me your questions! I will do my best to answer them either through this blog or in person.

Bible Reading: Proverbs 22, Esther 5

Though there are times as parents that we may not be able to explain the "why", such as when the Holy Ghost prompts us that something is not in the best interest of our children. Though we may not necessarily understand God's leading, we need to be sensitive to His direction. However, generally speaking, we need to be ready to give an answer of the hope that lies within us. And, absolutely be ready to give an explanation of why we may or may not do something in particular. Can't wait to see some questions and answers!
